During this Wednesday it was announced that the Senate it resolved to partially sanction Raúl Guzmán, secretary of the Senate, who was caught in a restaurant, allegedly violating the measures imposed by the health authority.

It was La Radio that at the time announced that Guzmán held a lunch at a seafood restaurant in San Miguel on June 25, accompanied by the prosecutor of the southern zone, Patricio Rosas, and the consulting lawyer, Roberto Conteras.

In this sense, the Senate indicated that “The Internal Regime Commission has just resolved that the Secretary of the Senate, Raúl Guzmán Uribe, once he is formalized, will leave his legislative functions; this is participation in the Chamber and committee meetings “.

“It will be devoted to tasks of an administrative nature and the Internal Regime,” they added.

Finally, they mention: “Regarding the personal situation of the Secretary General, it will be his lawyers who will refer in this matter”.
