A deceased worker left a work accident registered this Wednesday inside the Port of Coronel, in the Bío Bío region.

Through a statement, the company confirmed the fact.

According to Radio El Carbón de Lota, the accident occurred in a warehouse at the north entrance of the port, where the victim was trapped after the detachment of a fork. This during pulp handling tasks.

The man was identified as Patricio martinez, approximately 50 years old.

Emergency personnel and Firefighters volunteers arrived at the place. Puerto de Coronel, along with regretting the fact, reported that are in contact with the worker’s family.

Personnel of the Legal Medical Service will remove the body from the place, while clarifying how the work accident occurred.

As a result of the accident, the operations were paralyzed inside the port and They will be resumed this Thursday at 3:00 p.m..
