Between La Araucanía and Aysén: four communes will go into quarantine and another two to transition | National

A total of four communes will retreat to total quarantine, product of the advance of the coronavirus pandemic.

This was reported this Wednesday by the Undersecretary for Crime Prevention, Katherine Martorell, during the authorities’ report.

From this Friday, September 25 at 11:00 p.m., the communes of Panguipulli and Lanco in the Los Ríos region will recede into transition.

The communes of Lonquimay, Ercilla and Teodoro Schmidt, in the region of La Araucanía, and the commune of Coyhaique in Aysén will go into quarantine.

In the case of quarantines, they will also start from the 23:00 hours on Friday 25 of September.

On the other hand, other 27 communes throughout the country most of the Metropolitan region will advance phase in the Step by Step plan.

This Wednesday it was reported 1,372 new infections, of which 1,016 were symptomatic and 325 asymptomatic.

The total of cases confirmed is 449,903, recovered 425,165 and total assets 12,393.
