Controversial survey of UDI deputy with disqualification of the Comptroller’s Office reaches the Ethics Commission

Deputy Daniel Núñez (PC) announced this Tuesday that he will take his UDI counterpart Sergio Bobadilla to the Chamber’s Ethics Commission for a controversial poll he posted this afternoon on his Twitter account.

The union legislator asked his followers: “Do you think the Comptroller’s Office has become the armed wing of the Chilean narco-left?”, and gave the two options: “Yes, all the time” and “No”.

All this, amid harsh criticism from the ruling party – and particularly from the UDI – of the investigation carried out by Comptroller against Carabineros for the way in which they carried out their tasks of public order control during the protests of the social crisis, and that they ended up in the formulation of charges to seven generals for not having adopted the necessary measures to carry out an adequate deployment of the services.

For Deputy Núñez, the publication of Bobadilla “It is a very serious insult towards that organism of the State”, which seeks to “inhibit the control of the Comptroller’s office and, in this way, the Government has a kind of free warbler.”

“I want to express my solidarity with the Comptroller Jorge Bermúdez, since this attack has no coherence or argumentation, and is simply an expression of unacceptable rudeness “, said the communist legislator.

He added: “This individual Bobadilla he is failing his duties as a deputy and, therefore, I am going to request that it be passed to the Ethics Commission. “
