Jadue joined other voices in favor of signing Escazú – Agencia UNO
Criticisms of government for not signing the Escazú agreement have been on the rise by the opposition and now Daniel Jadue.
The president of the Communist Party rated as “an international embarrassment” than Chile will not join the agreement.
“It is an international shame that the Government again refuses to sign. Escazú seeks to recognize the right to information, participation, access to justice and protection of people who defend the environment“, he wrote in his account Twitter.
The mayor of Recoleta joined other voices, such as Camila vallejo, Catalina Perez, Marcelo mena, Claudia mix, Raul soto and Heraldo Múñoz, among others.
