The leader of the Republican Party, Jose Antonio Kast, responded strongly to the statement of the Communist Party on Venezuela, which emerged after the UN report on the violation of Human Rights in that country.
In the declaration – which you can read here – the PC says that the UN report “does not say a word about the blockade and foreign interference led by the United States and Colombia, which is the main cause of this situation.”
“The PC rejects, denounces and alerts on the escalation of communication, diplomatic and pressure towards third countries, articulated by the US administration, of which the government of Chile is part, in order to destabilize, discredit and intervene in this electoral process and create conditions for a new crisis with destabilizing purposes ”, adds the communist statement.
In this regard, Kast responded by Twitter: “Next year, Chileans will face the most important election in our history. At the fore will be Daniel Jadue and the Communist Party, deniers of serious human rights violations in Venezuela and who will seek to implement the Bolivarian regime in Chile.
