In preventive prison a 40-year-old man accused of raping his 80-year-old mother, yesterday Friday in the commune of Las Condes, in the eastern sector of Santiago.
According to what was reported by the Public Ministry, the subject was surprised by his brother, who after returning from shopping caught him committing the crime and later called the Carabineros.
The persecutor (s) of the Eastern Metropolitan Flagrancy Prosecutor’s Office, Jorge Garcia, reported that: “The Public Ministry proceeded to carry out the formalization against the accused Pablo Perea Jerez for the crime of rape, which occurred on September 18 around 5:00 p.m. in the commune of Las Condes. “
The mayor of the commune, Joaquin Lavin, pledged all his help to the victim and requested the maximum penalties for the accused.
Meanwhile, the PDI Sex Crimes Brigade took the woman to a health center and to the Legal Medical Service (SML) to prove the crime.
