The violent collision between a van and a transport truck leaves the unfortunate death of a person, on Route 5 north, at Coquimbo.
The accident occurred at the entrance to the Sindempart population, when for reasons under investigation, the black Nissan Terrano double cab collided head-on with the truck.
As a result of this high-energy impact, a person died, apparently the driver of the truck, whose body was rescued after the arduous work of firefighters volunteers, since the truck was practically destroyed.
Carabineros went to the scene to regulate traffic and the SIAT section adopted the procedure to investigate the causes of the fatal accident.
