At 10:00 p.m. this Friday the campaign began Let’s go Chileans that seeks to raise funds to help the elderly most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Bafochi and several artists were in charge of the opening of the program, which was also attended by representatives of essential workers and health officials, who will be honored during the day.

However, it was Francisco Reyes who most attracted attention. The actor welcomed the space by speaking in different indigenous languages, which drew applause on social networks.

The interpreter greeted in Mapudungun and Rapanui, paying homage to the elderly and calling for the solidarity of Chileans.

“We are from the same land, in a few more months Chile will begin a new spring and colors and aromas will spring up again,” said the actor.

“We will get back on our feet as stubbornly we have always done and whenever nature does not shake like now, bringing out the best in each one of us,” he added.
