On the Los Libertadores Route, the sanitary cordon was located in the road holding sector of Colina, with restriction of fast tracks from kilometer 17.5 to 18.1 towards Los Andes and from kilometer 18.4 to 18 towards Santiago.
Rutas del Pacífico, concessionaire of highway 68, reported the implementation of preventive health control, by Minsal and Carabineros personnel, at kilometer 48, Curacaví sector, towards Santiago and Valparaíso. There is also an inspection at kilometer 95.3, Peñuelas sector, in the direction of Valparaíso.
From the Curacaví Office, Carabineros Captain Joaquín Nazar explained that all vehicles that leave the Metropolitan Region will be controlled in the sanitary cordon. “There are only three causes starting at 6:00 p.m. to be able to leave the Metropolitan Region and these are for reasons of moving, for a pre-established medical time or for some situation that says relationship with funerals of direct relatives,” he explained.
Captain Nazar stated that the inspection process started, the behavior of the drivers “has been relatively normal.”

The Metropolitan Mayor, Felipe Guevara, together with the Chief of National Defense in the Metropolitan Region, General Carlos Ricotti; and the chief of the Carabineros Metropolitan Area, General Mauricio Rodríguez, flew over the sanitary cordons implemented in the capital, confirming the situation.
