The morning of this Thursday began the transfer of machi Celestino Córdova to his home, within the framework of the agreement reached with the Government after the extensive hunger strike.

Córdova was at the Gendarmería Study and Work Center (CET) in Vilcún.

The machi is transferred to his home in the community of Chicahual Córdova, in the commune of Padre Las Casas, where may be a maximum of 30 hours.

This is how part of the commitments assumed by the Government after the hunger strike carried out by Córdova, which lasted 107 days, is fulfilled.

The transfer began at 07:30 hours in a discreet operation which involved only two vehicles without logos.

According to the Gendarmerie, a minimum staff, since according to the internal regulations of the institution, Celestino Córdova now has his status as a settler of a Center for Studies and Work, making him a low-risk inmate.
