Six communes go back to quarantine and another two to transition from Friday | National

The Ministry of Health delivered this Wednesday a new balance on the situation of the covid-19 pandemic in the country, announcing the communes that fall back from phase in the plan “step by step”.

According to what was announced by the Government, from this Friday at 05:00 the following communes regress to Phase 2 (transition):

-San Fernando and O’Higgins.
-Talca (urban) in the Maule.

While the following communes pass to phase 1 (quarantine), which also will not enter a special plan for National Holidays, which provides special permits to visit other houses.

-Curanilahue, Los Alamos and Lebu in the Bío Bío.
-Licanten in the Maule.
-Maullín (urban) in Los Lagos.
-Pichidehua and O’Higgins.

According to the balance of the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours there were 1,305 new infections of coronavirus and 18 deaths from this disease, reaching a total of 12,058 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

Along the same lines, there are 898 hospitalized covid-19 patients in the country, of which 654 are on mechanical ventilation and 120 are in critical condition.

In addition, the balance sheet confirmed that the communes of Pudahuel, El Bosque, Independencia, Quillota and Calama will be quarantined as of Monday, which is why they will also be excluded from the plan for National Holidays.
