But I want to emphasize that going to vote on October 25 will be no more dangerous than going to a supermarket, paying a bill or doing some paperwork. What is at stake is too important for our citizens to subtract. We then call for calm, responsible and informed participation ”.
In a similar vein, Mayor Felipe Guevara said that “we are going to do everything possible so that the people do not stay away from this electoral process. There are 26% more polling stations – with practically the same electoral roll – to give voters more space in each location.
