El Teniente Division is the work center with the highest production in the state and the one that contributes the most surpluses. In 2019 it generated resources of US $ 1,046 million and this year it is expected to contribute a similar amount of surplus to the state, those that will contribute to financing solutions to the health and social problems facing Chile as a result of the pandemic.
The agreement, signed today by the parties, establishes 0% salary readjustment, a Negotiation Term Bonus (BTN) of $ 3,600,000 liquid, 53.4% lower than the previous negotiation; and does not consider loans. These benefits extend to non-union professionals in the division.
Of the 408 associates authorized to vote, 368 professionals voted, corresponding to 90% of the total. The agreement with the supervision of El Teniente also establishes variable incentives, which will be effective only if productivity, cost and resource contribution goals to the State are met.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to caring for people’s health and safety, contributing to the community, caring for the environment and delivering the surpluses committed for 2020.
