This Monday, the Fourth Guarantee Court of Santiago maintained the precautionary measure of preventive detention for Hernán Calderón Argandoña, who is currently being investigated for the alleged frustrated patricide of his father.
Thus, the court rejected the petition of the defendant’s defense, who asked that he be transferred from Santiago 1.
Currently, the young man is being investigated for the crimes of frustrated patricide, damage, unjustified shooting, unconditional threats and less serious injuries in a VIF and other related contexts.

Let us remember that the father of “Nano” Calderón, the lawyer Hernán Calderón Salinas, reclassified the complaint against his son last week, eliminating the qualification of “parricide” and leaving it as a “Crime serious injuries in context of domestic violence.”
Calderón Salinas also reported that he will represent himself in the case, after the resignation of one of his lawyers.
The case began on August 11 when the 23-year-old came to his father’s apartment to attack him with a knife.
It should be noted that Calderón Jr. is currently in the Health Area of the aforementioned enclosure, where you must comply with a sanitary protocol before moving on to a particular module.
