What happened?
A violent aggression suffered a janitor and a municipal guard by a group of skaters in the commune of The Counts.
The beating was recorded by the surveillance cameras of a building, located in Cerro El Plomo street, where usually young people practice this sport at the entrances to the property.
How did the assault occur?
Precisely the presence of the skaters, which would prevent the normal transit of people in the sector, was the origin of the incident.
This is because the janitor asked the young people to leave the place, receiving a violent response, the same that was repeated minutes later when a municipal guard arrived at the building.
Three detainees
The physical aggression by the skaters left the janitor with a contusion to the head and back, while the municipal official was with injuries to the forearm and wrist.
Later, Carabinieri arrived at the site and detained the three young men, 16, 17 and 18 years old. The oldest of them faces charges for injuries against the workers and the rest were summoned to the Prosecutor’s Office.
What did the Prosecutor’s Office say?
“The adult was formalized today for the crime of minor injuries. The precautionary measure was requested to prohibit the victims from approaching their home or place where they are, and an investigation period of 60 days was set, ”explained the prosecutor Marcelo Miranda of the Eastern Prosecutor’s Office.
The mayor of Las Condes, Joaquin Lavin, meanwhile, noted that “what you are going to look for is a reparatory agreement. Here there may be a fine, there may be community work, there may be an impulse control course, something that repairs the damage caused ”.
