Inter Milan wants to close the signing of Arturo Vidal as soon as possible and in this way to please their coach, Antonio Conte. In order to close this operation, the Lombards are trying to take a decisive step.
What’s the plan? They are willing to open their wallets to be able to negotiate the compensation that Barcelona expects to receive for their departure.
The midfielder formed in Colo Colo has a contract for one more season with the Culé cast, so sealing his departure depended on whether he could agree to a contract termination with Barça and thus leave the club for free.
Everything seemed well under way, but the negotiations became entangled because Barcelona requested financial compensation from the Nerazzurri, in the same way it did with Sevilla to transfer Croatian Iván Rakitic.
Time is pressing for Inter, because Serie A will start from next week, so they prefer to cut their losses and pay. Despite the initial refusal, transfer specialist Gialunca Di Marzio confirmed that a disbursement will be made.
“The contact with Barcelona has been continuous and the idea is to unlock the player’s game as soon as possible. Inter is now also involved and will try to take advantage of the good relations with the culé team”, assures in a publication of Sky Sport.
For Antonio Conte it is of utmost importance to be able to solve these negotiations. The operation has been agreed, with Vidal, but the only thing missing is the economic agreement, which may include bonuses for objectives achieved and thus compensate Barcelona.
In this way, the Italian cast will put their hand in their pockets to accelerate the negotiations that are not linked to a possible transfer of the Argentine striker, Lautaro Martínez to the culé team.
