A series of demonstrations were registered this Friday night in the Villa Francia sector in the Central Station district, during a new commemoration of the coup d’état of September 11, 1973.
From 7:00 p.m., barricades were registered in different parts of Villa Francia, particularly in Avenida 5 de abril, in addition to attacks on Carabineros vehicles and confrontations with protesters.
According to the police institution, personnel from the Prefecture Control of Public Order were attacked with Molotov cocktails upon reaching Villa Francia and were previously intimidated with shots.
