Finally the commission of deputies that analyzed the constitutional accusation against the minister of the Court of Appeals of Valparaíso, Silvana Donoso, rejected, by three abstentions, one vote in favor and one against, the libero promoted by the deputy RN Andrés Longton.

The result is not binding for the discussion in the room that will take place tomorrow at 10 am. The indictment seeks to remove from office the minister who presided over the Conditional Release Commission who released Hugo Bustamante Pérez, the only defendant in the femicide of the minor Ámbar Cornejo in Villa Alemana.

In accordance with the procedure, before the commission’s report is read, the defense of the judge, according to what was announced before the parliamentary group, will raise the so-called “preliminary question”, which refers to the fact that the accusation does not comply with the formal requirements established by the Constitution.

Deduced the previous question, the Chamber will resolve it by majority of the deputies present, after hearing those who made up the reporting commission.

If the House accepts the previous question, the accusation is understood as not filed. If you reject it, then the commission report must be delivered.

Then, the defense of the minister would be heard. Both parties would have the right to rectify facts before the closing of the debate.
