Two arson attacks They were registered this Sunday night in the Cañete commune in the Arauco province, Bío Bío region.

The first of the attacks was registered at 10:45 p.m., where the unknown persons used incendiary devices to burn a house and a winery on Route P60, at the height of kilometer 30.

The two buildings were completely destroyed and the presence of residents was ruled out. As reported by the Carabineros, in the place they found pamphlets allusive to Mapuche political issues.

The other attack corresponds to a summer cabin, at around 11:30 p.m., where those responsible set the house arson on Route P72S, at kilometer 3.

There were no residents in the place and pamphlets were also found. One of them pointed out, according to the Carabineros, “Freedom to the PPM on hunger strike”.
