Through a statement consigned by the Cooperative, the military leadership indicated that “no special permits have been processed on the matter, since it does not assist it to pronounce on this type of actions, when they are framed in the corresponding sanitary provisions and the public order and traffic law, which includes maintaining free pedestrian and vehicular circulation “.
In any case, according to the document issued, the National Defense admitted to having sent a document to the organizers warning that they had to comply with the sanitary regulations in force due to the pandemic.
Meanwhile, from the Carabineros, who escorted the supporters of the Rejection, explained that the difference in the protocol applied in each demonstration is due to the phase of disarray of the “Step by step” plan in which each commune is: Las Condes in the phase 3, preparation, which lifts the quarantine all week; and Santiago in phase 2, of transition, which maintains the quarantine during the weekend.
Through social networks, there were several questions when the Carabineros acted in the Rejection march, which was escorted by police personnel while, at the same time, in the vicinity of Plaza Baquedano, the mobilization carried out by Nursing Technicians (TENS) who gathered to demand its inclusion in the Health Code.
