This Sunday, and before the questions of various communal and regional authorities, the Government announced changes in the general special permit that had been announced so that citizens of all the country can hold family meetings during the celebrations of National Holidays, in the plan that was called “Fondéate en tu casa”.
Now, the possibility will exist only for inhabitants of communes that are not in quarantine.
COMMON EXCLUDED THAT ARE IN PHASE 1
The announcement was made by the spokesman for La Moneda, Jaime Bellolio, who assured that “this is a Government that listens, it is a Government that attends to what the mayors, some authorities, and We have made the determination that this special transitory permit for September 18, 19 and 20, will exclude those communes that are currently in step 1, that is, that are in quarantine“.
“We are especially concerned about those 15 communes that have been in that same quarantine for less than 20 days, and therefore, listening and knowing that our main concern is for people’s health, is that we reaffirm the importance of the ‘Fondéate en tu casa ‘, which is a celebration with our inner circle, in which we must take care of ourselves, “he emphasized.
The inhabitants of the communes that are in the non-quarantine stages (that is, from 2 to 5), will have to request this special permit through the Virtual Police Station.
Permits will be mandatory for visits of a maximum of five people in closed homes and 10 in open ones for the September 18, 19 and 20.
In addition, it should be noted that the duration of the temporary permits will be six hours.
Citizens of all communes that are not in Phase 1 are required to obtain permission for family reunions, apart from the fact that there are no mobility restrictions there outside of the curfew.
🔴 IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The 6-hour special permit for National Holidays WILL NOT APPLY to Quarantined communes. For the rest of the stages, Transition, Preparation, Initial Opening and Advanced Opening, it is a requirement.
