The Minister of Education, Raul Figueroa, completed a two-day tour of the Los Ríos Region this Friday, in which he held various meetings with the educational community in the area.
On your visit, the secretary of state made it clear that the return to classes will be voluntary and gradual. “We are convinced that it is important, insofar as sanitary conditions allow, to create spaces for reunion in schools and high schools“Said Figueroa.
He added that “this is based on three essential pillars. Security only if sanitary conditions are met and to the extent that the protocols are met. Voluntariness, only with respect to those establishments that are in a position to do so voluntarily, and for those parents and students who also voluntarily want to return to the classroom“.
Finally, the minister emphasized the gradualness, as “you cannot do this in all establishments, with all the students at the same time ”.
In Los Ríos, so far only 10 establishments have requested a face-to-face return to classes.
Together with the mayor of @munilaunion, Aldo Pinuer, we visited the TP Werner Grob High School, where 4th year students of the specialty of gastronomy have returned to face-to-face classes to continue their internships. Great job and example of the director @Carolinacaico and your community pic.twitter.com/QKuI2Z9aZL
