PC accuses that Heraldo Muñoz went out to “flirt” Daniel Jadue for presidential candidacy | National

On Thursday there was a tense debate on Twitter between the mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue, of the Communist Party, and the president of the PPD Heraldo Muñoz, after the former expressed his opinion in an online broadcast about giving Bolivia an outlet to the sea, which he said that beyond his position it should be resolved in a plebiscite. To which Muñoz replied that the issue has already been tried and there is no obligation to negotiate.

The mayor himself said that in this he sees political advantage, while the president of the Communist Party, Guillermo Teillier, directly accused a backgammon on the part of the ex-chancellor, for going the mayor above in the polls. He also said that there is availability for a primary with the rest of the opposition.

Earlier, PPD president Heraldo Muñoz insisted that Chile can more than choose between Joaquín Lavín, the most likely letter from the UDI, and Jadue

The president of the Radical Party, Carlos Maldonado, considered that the disqualifications do not correspond, and even defended that Jadue’s position is legitimate. He expressed his willingness to represent the Radical Party in an eventual primary, as a presidential candidate.

The president of Comunes, Jorge Ramírez, considered that the Broad Front should be the protagonist of the process of change, and that it has leaderships to have a candidacy of the bloc. He considered that although there must be a programmatic consensus, it is not enough to generate a glut of acronyms, so it would be a mistake to speak of primaries without first discussing the type of country to be built.
