A Transantiago bus was totally burned during the afternoon of this Friday in the commune of Cerro Navia.
In particular, the situation affected a machine from the Metbus company, which was circulating along Avenida Federico Errázuriz with Mapocho Sur, when the driver was forced to slow down due to a bonfire in the place.
Once he was completely detained, according to preliminary information, two unknown men intimidated the driver with bladed weapons and made him get out of the vehicle.
After that, the bus was left on the campfire, for which it was completely burned, according to Captain María Mateos, Officer of the Round of the Western Prefecture.

Two fire companies attended the scene, trying to put out the flames, although it was destroyed by the fire anyway.
Meanwhile, Carabineros carried out the respective expertise to try to find those responsible, since no people were detained as a result of the incident.
As of this writing, it was unclear if there were passengers on board at the time of the attack, although fortunately the driver was not injured.
This episode is added to the one that occurred on Thursday night in San Miguel, where unknown persons activated an incendiary device during a trip with 15 passengers, forcing the bus to be evacuated in an emergency and forcing the driver to use the fire extinguisher.
