A man died in a pit in the Illapel commune, in the Coquimbo Region, after the land from which it was extracting minerals give in and cover it completely.

Accident will be reported to the Public Ministry

From the National Geology and Mining Service (Sernageomin) it was reported that this accident will be reported to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Coquimbo to determine possible responsibilities.
