The Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, announced that for the weekend of National Holidays the curfew will be brought forward in two hours, so the measure will govern the restriction from 9:00 p.m.
The health authority did not provide more details on which days the measure will be in force, however, it said that “It is confirmed” and argued that it will be “to avoid the contagion of Covid-19, adding to the Fondéate en tu Casa plan”.
“The greater the freedoms, the greater the responsibilities for people in their homes continue with self-care measures“, he indicated.
This is in addition to the measures that were announced this Wednesday and that will be implemented during the holiday: banning of events and the income five additional people to the family group in closed areas, and 10 people in open spaces, with the mask and social distancing measures.
From the Minsal they explained that the quarantines are not lifted, but that there will be an individual permit in the Virtual Police Station, with an extension of 6 hours.
In addition, they will be implemented sanitary cords in the Metropolitan Region, Valparaíso, Gran Concepción, Temuco and Padre Las Casas.
