A tense conversation had this Wednesday the journalist Daniel Matamala with the president of the National Confederation of Land Freight Transportation of Chile, Sergio Pérez.
In the middle of an interview, Matamala asked the leader about the responsibilities of unemployed truckers, in actions such as blocking free traffic, for example.
“And you Mr. Matamala, why were you not so severe when they burned more than 100 supermarkets, when …?” Perez replied.
He was immediately interrupted by the journalist, who rebuked him “for saying something false.” “Then I have to interrupt him,” Matamala told him.
“Don’t interrupt me sir, you attack entrepreneurs, you attack those who employ them! That is not done Mr. Matamala ”, Pérez replied.
“What we did was stop with the work teams on the Chilean routes and instruction number 1 when starting the citizen mobilization was free transit, never stop a truck with basic supplies or materials related to the health pandemic,” he proceeded to answer the question Sergio Pérez.
