“Language certainly does not contribute at all to solving problems, less threats, and even less pointing a finger at a person. The government has made all the efforts that were within its reach, we have listened to them and we were minutes away from reaching an agreement. On the occasion, Minister Pérez said that “we consider that the reason for the stoppage of the truckers, which was the violence in La Araucanía, had reasons and that is why we talked with them, but We consider that this reason begins to be diluted when there are road cuts, when there are cuts in the supply chain”.
In this regard, he stressed that the agreement that was presented to the truckers “sufficiently strengthens security in the macro-southern zone, strengthens the protection of victims and therefore there is no reason to maintain a mobilization”. “Reject that, not to assume that agreement to which we were about to reach It doesn’t seem like a sensible attitude to me and it seems like a mistake ”, he stressed.
