The Court of Guarantee of Traiguén decreed the precautionary measure of preventive detention for Emilio Berkhoff, for an arson attack in the commune of Lumaco.
This occurred on May 30 in a Mininco forest farm in the La Araucanía region.
At the hearing, the Public Ministry provided various information, such as the triangulation of the calls made by Berkhoff, which would account for his transfer from Tirúa to Lumaco.
It was also provided with the testimony of one of the victims, who recognized a red parka, which belonged to one of those affected.
Emilio Berkhoff was already deprived of liberty for a cause of drug trafficking in the Bío Bío, where more than 800 kilos of cocaine base paste was seized.
