Deputy Hugo Rey, General Coordinator of the “Approve RN” command, invited citizens to participate in the instances that are being developed together with various professionals and constitutional lawyers, so that they know the scope of the option they promote. “We are going to demolish the myths that exist about the approval and about this election,” Rey said in a statement.
The National Renewal parliamentarian stated that “we want to change the constitution, which emanates from the citizens. Our north is to promote freedom and individual guarantees. That is what differentiates us from the left ”.
Deputy Paulina Núñez, spokesperson for the “I approve RN” option, said that “we want to carry out an information campaign. Many phrases have been disseminated that confuse the public, such as that they are going to jump into the void or that we start from a blank page and that is not the case. There is no doubt that each time a constitution has been written, a large part of what is in force has been collected. This requires profound changes such as the presidential regime for example and that is why we will vote Approve to reform ”.
The legislator added that “there are constitutional guarantees contemplated that for no reason will they be left out, such as the value of life, the family as the nucleus of society, the right to property; that right is contemplated neither more nor less than in the American Convention on Human Rights ”.
“Our goal is to campaign with a lot of information and not with fear. That is why we concentrate on spreading our talks with great professionals who will clearly inform us, because we are at stake for the Approve option, because we are sure that it is the best for Chile ”, Paulina Núñez concluded.
