Quarantine begins in five communes of the country – Coronavirus – 24 hours

Last Wednesday the Ministry of Health announced that five communes of the country would go back to the Quarantine phase in the country, what became effective from 23:00 hours this Friday.

In this way it was determined that Concepción, Hualpén, Chiguayante, Talcahuano and Linares regress from Transition to Quarantine phase for at least seven days

With the new announcements, 49 areas will be under quarantine, while 35 will be in Transition.

The measure is due to the increase in cases registered in recent days in these areas.

2) TRANSITION

The degree of confinement decreases and part of the activities can be resumed, but a sudden opening is avoided to minimize the risks of contagion:

  1. Travel is allowed from Monday to Friday, except during curfew hours.
  2. Physical distancing
  3. Use of a mandatory mask
  4. The quarantine is maintained on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
  5. Social and recreational gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people
  6. Events, social and recreational activities allowed with a maximum of 5 people in closed places (additional to those who live in the same residence) and 10 people in open places
  7. Those over 75 must comply with mandatory quarantine
  8. Customs and cordon compliance

The quarantine is lifted for the general population, except for risk groups, in the event that a commune that has passed from quarantine to Transition presents good epidemiological behavior. The biggest change with respect to the Transition stage is that it does not restrict the mobility of people on any day of the week, but maintains the sanitary restrictions:

  1. Displacement is allowed, except during curfew hours
  2. Physical distancing
  3. Use of a mandatory mask
  4. Social and recreational activities are allowed any day of the week with a maximum of 50 people
  5. Customs and sanitary cords are maintained
  6. The transfer to a second home is prohibited
  7. Those over 75 must comply with mandatory quarantine

4) INITIAL OPENING

Resume certain activities with a lower risk of contagion and minimizing crowds:

  1. Compliance with the touch remains (valid until the authority determines it).
  2. Compliance with customs and sanitary cords (in force until the authority determines it)
  3. Physical distancing
  4. Use of a mandatory mask
  5. Travel allowed, except for curfew hours
  6. Prohibition of transfer to second home
  7. Adults over 75 years old can go out once a day for 60 minutes, with maximum security measures
  8. The operation of restaurants, theaters, cinemas and similar places is allowed, with a maximum attendance of 25% of their capacity
  9. Sector restrictions:

5) ADVANCED OPENING

It is authorized to increase the number of people in activities allowed in the previous stage, always with self-care measures:

  1. Compliance with the touch remains (valid until the authority determines it) and physical distancing
  2. Compliance with customs and sanitary cords (in force until the authority determines it)
  3. Travel allowed, except for curfew hours
  4. Transfer to second home is allowed
  5. Free mobility of adults over 75 years of age is allowed
  6. The following restrictions are established:
  • Prohibition of the operation of Clubs and Day Centers for the Elderly
  • Visits and exits from ELEAM Centers and SENAME Centers are allowed.
  • Ban on events of more than 150 people
  • Cinemas, theaters and similar venues with a maximum capacity of 75% are allowed
  • The operation of restaurants and cafes with public attention is allowed, with a maximum of 75% of their capacity
  • Pubs, discos and similar are allowed, with a maximum capacity of 50%
  • Gymnasiums open to the public are allowed, with a maximum capacity of 50%
  • Gradual return to face-to-face classes in educational establishments according to the planning of the Ministry of Education and conditioned on the health situation.
