The Metropolitan Mayor, Felipe Guevara, together with the Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza, and the Seremi of Health, Paula Labra, yesterday they inspected the Monumental Stadium for the return of the national tournament, which returns with the match between Colo Colo and Wanderers.
According to the information shared in the meeting, the capacity of the stadiums during the pandemic is limited to a maximum of 390 people, although in this meeting only the 324 officially registered yesterday will be able to attend, considering players, club staff and the own logistics of the event. The police will control the entire perimeters of the stadium and will carry out controls to prevent the barristas from approaching the sector.
Guevara stressed that “in all the stadiums set up in the capital there will be four areas of operation in order to protect the health and safety of those who attend the venues, which are divided as follows: court, the player reserve area and booth for the press, access to the venue and the outskirts of the stadium. Only a maximum of 390 people can enter, including players and managers.
Undersecretary Daza took the opportunity to ask “all the fans who go to watch football from their home, to maintain sanitary measures: hand washing, mask and physical distancing. This weekend there is quarantine and there should be no social gatherings (…). We are going to have to celebrate without hugs and shout the goals with a mask. I ask you that despite the excitement, we must maintain prevention measures, ”he emphasized.
