Enrique Paris again questioned the actions of Izkia Siches, after the president of the Medical College harshly criticized the actions of the Government to face the pandemic, in the anteroom of the total quarantine in Greater Santiago.
Paris, former owner of Colmed, stressed in T13 that “she (Siches) says that she represents all the doctors in Chile; is not true. Not all Chilean doctors are enrolled in the Medical College ”.
The doctor, a member of the Social Table COVID-19, indicated that although Siches currently represents the Medical College, “there is a lot of disagreement with his words, it is not the time to attack the health authority in this way, and less to the constitutionally appointed authority to direct the State of Chile, which is the President of the Republic ”.
Along with this, Enrique Paris made it clear that “I join the words of Minister Blumel, here we all have to be together behind a great crusade, a great challenge, a great problem in the country that is the coronavirus.”
It should be remembered that Izkia Siches pointed out after the appointment of the COVID-19 Table in La Moneda that “it does not help me for the Minister of Health to change the tone, I need as a representative of the country’s doctors that there is a change in how to govern this pandemic. We have presented a series of recommendations, the advisory committee has presented a series of recommendations that have not been accepted or implemented and as a school we hope that this will happen. The collaborative way, the unity that we have been asked by the Government ”.
“Our participation in that social table is in the best spirit, but we cannot continue talking to a wall, we need to have a more direct dialogue,” he emphasized.
