The former Chilean selected Manuel Iturra decided to retire from football at age 35 old, after this Monday the AIM Football agency, representative of the player, will communicate the news on social networks.
Through a video, great figures of world football and former teammates like Javier Saviola, Martín Demichelis, Diego Lugano and Roque Santa Cruz they sent a farewell message to “Colocho”.

Iturra also had outstanding steps by Universidad de Chile, União de Leiria, Real Murcia, Málaga -in two stages-, Granada, Udinese, Rayo Vallecano, Necaxa, Villarreal and Maccabi Haifa.
In his record, two titles stand out with the U, the opening championships in 2004 and 2009. And individually, he was the best player of the 2015 season in Granada.
In addition, Iturra was selected nationally with Marcelo Bielsa in the qualifiers for South Africa 2010.
