Let’s all sing from Arica to Magellan on April 19, 1925, when David Arellano and a group of disgruntled players decided to create a new institution, which in white uniform will enhance the nobility, and black – the seriousness of the project.

Let’s drink to those who formed the club because of the rebellion of what seems to us wrong, the same entity that caused the social divisions that went down in the history of our country.

An institution that was created with the belief that you should get rid of stupidity and bad practice, where the spirit of camaraderie is above all. The only club in the world that pays tribute to indigenous people as a symbol of transversality and does not want to represent a city, a colony or an educational home.

The name was proposed by Louis Contreras and unanimously adopted by the assembly of the “rebels” of Magallan. All these meetings were held in the house of the Arellano brothers, where their mother, Rosario Moraga, played the main role, the one we hope that the woman will continue to do.

We are lucky to be fans of this club. There is not a single person in the world with such a beautiful history as Kolo Kolo, with so much romance bordering on the tragic, because he saw his founder die in just 24 years, and there is a whole future ahead.

There is no doubt that David Arellano sees his legacy and his memory remains alive every time his popular fans sing the hymn in all games. The club always carries this mourning on its chest, so it depends on us that its values and self-confidence to be the best will never decrease.

Colo Colo is something huge, in which its huge folk roots stand out, which makes it the largest civil institution in Chile. His sporting achievements are not insignificant: 32 national championships, 12 Chile cups, three international titles, the only one that has never dropped into the second division and has its own stadium.

You can see this shield everywhere. From a proud worker who works in an Alba T-shirt to a terminally ill person with a flag, Cacique is something very important in the lives of millions of Chileans.

A toast for that crispy marraquette and sweet tea for leaving us David Arellano, Chamaco Valdes, Carlos Caseli, Lizardo Garrido, Daniel Moron, Marcelo Barticchiotto, Esteban Paredes and many other famous players who brought so much joy to the institution.

Let’s highlight the famous names formed in the club in the club, such as those mentioned by Chamaco, Caszely and Garrido, but also Roberto Rojas, Matias Fernandez, Jorge Valdivia, Arturo Vidal, Claudio Bravo, For being the club that has contributed most of the players to the Chilean team in history.

But let’s not forget those foreigners who came with a foreign country with a suitcase full of dreams and remained the same as the same Barty or Moron, but also Severino Vasconcelos, Elson Beirut, Marcelo Espina, Emerson Pereira, Gustavo Benitez, Claudio Borgi or Mirko Jozicamong many others.

Let’s not forget his women’s team, which also won the Freedom Cup, and how the club gradually pays more attention to its women.

Today we toast and sing for the tears that shed a little when they thought the club could disappear due to a serious financial crisis that caused us to lose Cienfuegos headquarters and for the emotion of this title in bankruptcy, led by players from our greenhouse who were motivated only by their love for the shirt.

Let’s all sing for this club, whose fighting essence has always brought it back from its worst crises, the stamina that identifies us and makes us swell for Cacique.

Let’s all sing from Arica to Magellan, for Kolo Kolo an example of courage! Happy 95 years to the Club of Sports and Sports Colo Colo.
