In recent days it became known that Sergio Jadue, former ANFP president and one of the protagonists of the so-called FIFAGate – a corruption scandal in football worldwide – managed to postpone his sentence reading for the ninth time.
At the request of Jadue’s defense attorney, William M. Brodsky, the US court confirmed the new date for the continuation of the process: November 3.
María Inés Facuse, ex-wife of the leader who, at the time, followed him to North American soil for continuity with the relationship, spoke about this situation. Currently, separated, she seeks to win a lawsuit against the Calerano.
Facuse is not surprised by Jadue’s postponement of sentence. “He is clear on everything. They are going to sentence him, what do I know, but he will not go to jail in the United States. If everything is agreed, ”he said in dialogue with Las Últimas Noticias.
“People think they are going to jail, but they have everything arranged. Nothing surprises me, “he added.
Regarding the ‘fall’ of his ex-husband, Facuse pointed out that “he did not tell me that he had received money from outside. There he showed that he was not so smart.
“Ambition betrayed him. I said I was upset about what was going on. He began looking for lawyers and traveling to the United States to help with the investigation. I was stopping in Brazil so that they would not discover it, ”he added.

Facuse, who says he moved to the United States because “I did not want my children to be without their dad,” stressed that he still does not understand why Jadue accepted bribes.
