North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reportedly appeared in public this Friday for the first time in 20 days, according to South Korea’s official news agency Yonhap.

Kim had not been seen since April 11, raising questions about his health and even rumors of his death.

It should be remembered that, last week, the US media TMZ replied to some reports that claimed that the North Korean leader had died after failed cardiac surgery.

According to the initial publication of the medium – known for being the first to report the deaths of figures such as Michael Jackson and Kobe Bryant – he cited Chinese and Japanese agencies. However, he backtracked on his statements and updated his information, specifying that the fact had not been confirmed directly or with independent sources.

Days before – on April 20 – CNN reported that Kim Jong Un would be in a state of extreme gravity after undergoing surgery, and that the United States was monitoring the situation.
