Starting next Monday, May 4, 21 units of National System of State Protected Wild Areas they will reopen their doors. The measure follows a gradual opening plan that will have all the units open by the end of the month.
The Agriculture Minister Antonio Walker, Next to the National Forest Corporation (Conaf), They announced the opening of 21 units of the National System of State Protected Wild Areas, distributed in seven regions of the country.
According to the Secretary of State, it is a first stage with the intention of giving an alternative of well-being to people, taking into account the benefits of contact with nature.
“We are doing this responsibly and it is due to a gradual plan to open the units,” said Minister Walker.
Meanwhile, the Conaf’s executive director, José Manuel Rebolledo, He stressed that the main concern will be to protect the health of park rangers and visitors.
In this sense, he assured that “a gradual opening plan has been worked very seriously and responsibly, which includes all the safeguard measures to guarantee the protection of our park rangers and visitors.”
