From the periodic spokesperson made by the Ministry of Health from La Moneda, Minister Enrique París indicated that seven communes managed to reach step 3, “Preparation”.
These are The Andes and San Felipe in the Valparaíso region; San José de Maipo, Providencia, Las Condes, Ñuñoa and Vitacura in the Metropolitan Region.
However, one of the biggest novelties was the announcement that in the communes in this phase, restaurants can serve on terraces and sidewalks -that is, outdoors- in a measure agreed with the Ministry of Economy.
At first, this alternative was not considered in “Preparation”.
This measure will begin on September 2 at 5:00.
What can I do in Preparation?
– You can go out every day of the week, but without going to a quarantined place.
– The curfew must be respected, which implies that you do not leave between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. except with a safe conduct due to a medical emergency or the death of a direct relative.
– You can go to work in a place that is not in quarantine, unless it is an essential service, possessing a collective travel permit or a unique collective permit.
– Participate in events, social and recreational gatherings of up to 50 people, except during curfew hours.
– Carry out sports activity and participate in group sports with a maximum of 5 people in closed places (except public access gyms) and 25 in open places. No audience.
– People over 75 years of age can go for a walk once a day, every day, for 60 minutes, between 10:00 and 12:00 hours or between 15:00 and 17:00.
– Residents of Sename Centers can go out up to 5 times / week, with supervision. Visits from significant links and outings for work purposes are also allowed.
– When leaving, you should wear a mask, keep your physical distance and remember measures such as hand washing or use of alcohol gel.
