The results of the last Citizen Pulse Survey showed that the 58.6% of its respondents agree or strongly agree with the plan “Fondéate en tu Casa”, an initiative with which the Government partially relaxed the sanitary measures for the National Holidays.
However, 18.5% stated that they did not agree or disagree with that and a 22.9% openly declared against of the idea that was subject to modifications after a series of criticisms, especially by mayors in quarantined communes.
54.5% classified it as “clear or very clear”, 18.2% as “moderately clear” and 27.2% as “little or not at all clear”.
After bickering between La Moneda and the regions, finally the Government came out again to explain how “Fondéate en tu Casa” would work and eliminated the possibility of requesting special permits in quarantined communes.
Government approval
According to Pulse, the approval of President Sebastián Piñera reached 19.7%, 1.2 points less in relation to the previous evaluation, of the second half of August.
On the contrary, the disapproval rose to 69.7%, 0.5% more than in August.
He cabinet it reached 13.6% approval, 2.5% less than in the last survey; and a 73.3% disapproval, about 70.7% in August.
Presidential
Joaquín Lavín returned to lead the list of presidential preferences with 15% of the responses, well below the 23% achieved in the last fortnight of August.
In second place was Daniel Jadue (11%) and third place went to Evelyn Matthei (7.3).
Then Franco Parisi, Beatriz Sánchez, José Antonio Kast, Leonardo Farkas, Pamela Jiles, Rodolfo Carter, Heraldo Muñoz, Michelle Bachelet and Alejandro Guillier were positioned.
However, when asked “who do you think the next president of Chile will be, excluding Sebastián Piñera?” Lavín accumulated 20.4% of the responses above the 10.7% that Jadue agglutinated.
Plebiscite
76.8% of those surveyed by Pulse declared in agreement or very much in agreement with the idea of changing the current Constitution From Chile. 11.1%, meanwhile, declared themselves to disagree or strongly disagree.
So, 75.1% confirmed that they will vote I approve, 11.2 Rejection, 8.3% will not exercise their right to vote and 5.4% are not clear about their preference.
Thinking about the body that should write this new Constitution, a 57% will favor the Constitutional Convention (elected citizens) and 23% by the Constitutional Mixed Convention (formula that includes 50% of politicians).
75.1% said they are sure or very sure that they will go to the polls on October 25. 13.4 said it will not.
