Almost two weeks before the plebiscite, the To serve published the definitive list of board members, after more than 37 thousand excuses were presented. The Electoral Service authorities indicated that they will have strict health and order measures.
All information can be found in the Electoral Data Consultation section of the Servel website.
Of that figure, 33,359 were accepted, by which today it was known who will be their replacements. The national director of Servel, Raúl García highlighted the work of the board members and said that it is essential to have them.
Today a meeting was also held in the 2,715 voting places where the delegates and facilitators of the election process participated. The president of the Servel board of directors, Patricio Santamaría said that the latter will be in charge of enforcing the sanitary measures.
Meanwhile, the mayors insist on requesting additional measures to face the day of the plebiscite. Community chiefs from different sectors have proposed that that day public transport is free. Renca’s mayor, Claudio Castro, said that this would be opportune not only for economic reasons, but also to facilitate the transfer that day.
The Servel authorities presented how the identification cards of this election will be, which must be published in 10 more days in national media. The people designated as board members will no longer be able to excuse themselves and must appear at their polling place next Saturday 24 at 3:00 p.m., where they will receive the corresponding training.
