Three people were arrested during their alleged participation in the arson attack against a boarding school in Lanalhue, commune of Cañete, in July of this year.

As confirmed by the Bío Bío Regional Prosecutor’s Office, this occurred in the framework of a criminal case led by the prosecutor Juan Yáñez, who has exclusive dedication to investigate acts of rural violence.

The antecedents indicate that in the early hours of the morning these three people were arrested for the burning of the school Pedro Etchepare and the campus boarding school.

This happened on July 15, in the middle of a series of arson attacks.

The people detained by the Investigative Police had in their possession species that belonged to the establishment educational.

According to information compiled by Radio Bío Bío, the three detainees they will not be charged for the fire.

The antecedents that La Radio manages indicate that two will be formalized for the crimes of infraction of the Arms Law, since they had ammunition cartridges and spell weapons.

The three will be charged with receiving stolen species from inside the educational establishment.

It is expected that this Friday morning they will pass to control the detention and subsequent formalization.
