A woman died after being attacked by a puma during the last hours in the Los Ríos region.
The fatal victim is a 28-year-old woman identified as Ana Mella Castillo, a native of the Valdivia commune, but who was visiting relatives in the Tres Chiflones sector in Corral.
According to what was reported by Radio Bío Bío in the area, at around 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday the affected person left the house to walk with her dogs.
However, her delay began to worry those close to her, who decided to go looking for her, finding her body with injuries attributable to an animal attack.
After giving notice of the incident, personnel from the PDI Homicide Brigade arrived at the scene and after carrying out the first expert reports, it was determined that the victim had been attacked by a puma.
