A 14-year-old minor was shot dead this morning in Talca, in an event that occurs under strange circumstances and is the subject of investigation.
The victim’s father told Radio Bío Bío that he was with his son on the outskirts of the home, while a wake was taking place in Villa Las Américas, in the Barrio Norte of the Maulina capital, ensuring that three to four individuals passed through the exterior, shooting at them.
The child was transferred to a health center, however, he died as a result of the severity of his injuries.
Prosecutor Ángel Ávila was appointed at the scene. “There was a homicide that had as its victim a minor, 14 years old. The proceedings are being carried out, with the intervention of the Homicide Brigade of the Investigative Police, ”he said.
The causes of this crime are not clear. Early this morning, they were working on registering witnesses, and taking statements before the prosecutor. So far, there are no detainees.
