NFL’s top nine crimes in 2020? Watch out for Cowboys, Chiefs, Ravens and … Bengals? | NFL.com
2 Kansas City Chiefs
It’s the world of Patrick Mahomes and we all just live in it. The reigning Super Bowl MVP (and 2018 League MVP) is clearly the best player in the NFL and the driving force behind this unstoppable offense. He made a deal for half a billion dollars – and he’s worth every penny. Still just 24 years old, Mahomes has enough room to grow, which is a terrible thought for the rest of the NFL. Can you imagine how dominant this man will be if his experience captures his transcendent skill set?
Of course, that does not mean that Mahomes is causing Kansas City to put together an ongoing track team that is dangerous and diverse. Tyreek Hill is the biggest hitter-run hitter in the game today. Its unique speed keeps defensive coordinators up at night. Sammy Watkins is a threat to take over every game in which he plays. The former No. 4 overall pick opened last season with a 198-yard, three-touchdown master class and closed it out with a productive playoff run. Mecole Hardman flew and scored (six touchdowns on 26 catches as a rookie), while Demarcus Robinson had a 172-yard game last season. Oh, yes – and what about Travis Kelce? You know, the best tight end this side of George Kittle? And I can not wait to see Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s first round in this offense. He is an ideal modern run back as a player in the ground game en air strike.
And who is the lead on this spicy collection of all-around talent? Ingenious offensive guru (and future Hall of Famer) Andy Reid. Start warming up those fingers, scoreboard operators.

Kansas City Chiefs
The Super Bowl champions need no help, but canceling these games against the NFC South would certainly be fun. They are set to get this division all in the second half of the season. Including dive games at the two Super Bowl drivers from that division New Orleans and Tampa Bay. They are already set to finish with successive home games and reduce that the December charge would go just a little further to bury their repeated chances.
Top 10 Offensive-Defensive Duos in the NFL in 2020 | NFL.com
3 Kansas City Chiefs
Forward: QB Patrick Mahomes · Defense: S Tyrann Mathieu
What Mahomes has done the past two seasons – winning the NFL MVP award in his first season as a starter and being named Super Bowl LV MVP in his second, then securing the greatest contract of any athlete in American sports history – speaks for itself. Mathieu, meanwhile, proved himself the missing ingredient in the Chiefs’ winning mix. The veteran safety recorded four picks, 12 passing defenses, two sacks and 75 tackles in his first year in Kansas City, earned first-team All-Pro honors and helped a pass defense that jumped into the 31st in 2018 ranks. the top 10 in 2019.

Kansas City Chiefs: Sammy Watkins, WR
Watkins was a playoff hero for the Chiefs after a very inconsistent regular season. He had received just 673 yards in 14 games and remains far from the 1,000 yards we saw early in his career with Buffalo. It is possible that he could see less attention this season with the rise of Mecole Hardman.

Buffalo Bills sign Sean McDermott after multi-year contract extension | Buffalo Rumblings (Buffalo Bills SB Nation Page)
De Buffalo Bills have signed head coach Sean McDermott for a multi-year contract extension, the team has announced. McDermott entered year four of the five-year deal he agreed to when he joined the Bills in 2017, and that meant expectations of an extension came true.
The decision was clearly cut, and McDermott was the first name on our list of provided contract extensions published earlier today. With a 25-23 record and two playoff appearances in his three years as head coach, McDermott has been the most successful Bills coach since Wade Phillips’ tenure 20 years ago. He rebuilt the culture of a team in the midst of the driest playoff ever, rehearsed a dramatic roster call, and led the team from those doldrums to playoff controversy. He also oversees a defense that has ranked top-3 in yards for the past two seasons.
Agent’s Take: Six teams under pressure to extend stardom games before 2021 franchise tag decisions | CBS Sports
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens will not be able to join the side of rusher Matthew Judon until the beginning of next January, as he is playing this season under a franchise tag of $ 16,808 million. Judon will be assured of free agency in 2021 if the Ravens do not extend Ronnie Stanley’s contract, as Stanley becomes a franchise.
The Texans did the Ravens no favors with Laremy Tunsil’s $ 22 million a year extension, which includes an offensive lineman record of $ 40 million fully guaranteed at signing. Tunsil with a higher than expected average annual salary in a shorter than expected term is likely to complicate Stanley’s negotiations.
Stanley, who plans to make $ 12.866 million this season on a fifth-year option, was selected sixth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft, seven picks ahead of Tunsil. Both were named for the Pro Bowl for the first time last season, with Stanley also earning Ear-team All-Pro honors.
Outside cornerback Marcus Peters, the Ravens are not used to doing high-end deals where players only give up three new years over extensions signed in the last year of rookie contracts or on their expiration dates. Unlike Tunsil, Peters had to sacrifice his average annual salary to get the shorter term. It will be interesting to see how Stanley takes advantage of Tunsil who dramatically restores the offensive tackle market.
Jets’ Le’Veon Bell Expects to Have a Career Year Following ‘Complaining’ Season | ESPN
“This has been the best I’ve felt and I’m ready to show it,” he said Wednesday in a video conference with reporters. “I’m ready to show that this is the best Le’Veon Bell who’s ever played in the NFL.”

Big 12 football to go through; NFL Could Adjust Offseasons Calendar To Meet Fourth College Football | NFL.com
“One thing that is very clear is by talking to various NFL officials and high ranking members of various teams, the NFL will do what it can to satisfy college football and in principle help guide them in doing so and help them come up with their own schedule. make sure it works for all sides, ”Rapoport said at an appearance Good morning football ahead of the Big 12’s announcement Wednesday. “For example, if there are things in the NFL calendar that need to be moved or relocated to help play college football in the spring, then that’s what they decide to do. Sure, that’s something the NFL is more than willing to do. They pretty much know how big a part of their college football is. ”

Patrick Mahomes played in the 40s: ‘That’s the plan’
And since Brady was up, Bayless asked Mahomes if he could visualize that he could play at Brady’s age of 43.
“That’s the goal,” said the 24-year-old, who already has signed a contract to stay with the Chiefs through the 2031 season. ‘I talked to a few of my teammates who have younger children. I always joke with her and say, ‘I’ll play with your kids when you see home.’ To play up to 43, you had to have the mentality that Tom’s had – to not only be great on the football field, but to be great at it; to be able to get out of there every day and take care of your body. I have so far put together a good plan with my trainer every year, and I will try to do that and get as healthy as I can – so that I can play at that age. “
