Check out the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G in all official colors

Last week, the low-quality print renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 showed off their beautiful design for the first time. Today, thanks to the people of MySmartPriceHigh-quality marketing images are now available that provide a detailed view of the folding.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features two perforated screens

the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, like its one-year predecessor, is equipped with not one but two AMOLED displays. Sitting outside is an extra-high 6.23-inch screen that extends to the edges of the device, and is therefore surrounded by minimal bezels.
The idea of slim bezels is certainly nothing new in the smartphone world, but the choice represents a massive update on the original Samsung Galaxy Fold. That device, for those of you who don’t know, was equipped with a 4.3-inch external display surrounded by very thick bezels which, in turn, limited its usefulness.

Buyers of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be able to use the small screen for whatever they want. But if you are watching a YouTube video or maybe reading a website, the bigger screen could be more useful.

The opening of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 reveals a massive 7.7-inch, 120Hz display, compared to the original 7.3-inch, which will automatically show you what is displayed on the external display.

The South Korean company used a plastic cover and a notch in the corner of the original model, but the newer folding look will feature ultra-thin glass for durability and a drilled hole for a cleaner design.

To further enhance the appearance of the device, the press displays Samsung has reduced the size of the bezels a bit. It appears that some rubber bumpers have also been added to the edge around the screen for added protection.

Samsung has equipped the folding with five cameras

As mentioned above, both Galaxy Z Fold 2 displays have adopted punching technology. According to previous reports, in these holes each house’s 10-megapixel selfie camera borrowed from previous Samsung flagships.

That setup is accompanied by a huge camera module similar to the Galaxy Note 20 on the left outer panel. It houses three cameras that are rumored to have been moved from the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20.

If true, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will feature a 12-megapixel main shooter that’s accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle snapper and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera. The latter supports 3x hybrid zoom and 30x digital zoom.

Rounding out the external package is a metal frame complete with a stereo speaker system, a USB-C port at the bottom, and a right-side-mounted fingerprint scanner located directly below the volume control.

Despite previous rumors, Samsung is not believed to have added S Pen support.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+, 5G connectivity and more

The power of the fold in question is expected to be the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ along with 12GB of RAM as standard. Samsung installed the first Galaxy Fold with 512GB of internal storage as standard, but there have been rumors about a 256GB base version with the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Samsung, which will launch the device in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze, is also preparing Android 10 and One UI 2.5 for the product. An Android 11 update is expected in the future, although that software has yet to be released.

Like the other premium flagships with Snapdragon 865+ technology, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will support next-generation 5G networks as standard.
