Catherine Zeta-Jones has surprised fans with a photo of her 17-year-old daughter, who looks like the absolute spit of her famous mother.
Carys Zeta, who Catherine shares with her husband Michael Douglas, gaped at her followers as she posed in the family’s garden in a cream silk dress.
With her brunette locks and slim build, she could pass for Catherine’s twin, despite her 32-year age gap.
“My girl in the garden,” Catherine captioned the sun-drenched photo.
The fans could not believe what they saw, with a single writing: “Beautiful like his mother”.
Another commented, “I thought it was you. Beautiful!”
And a third said: “Honestly, it was you @catherinezetajones, spitting image and so beautiful! Thanks for sharing.”
It comes after Catherine talked about how difficult it has been for her to be locked up for the past four months and not being able to see her parents.
Speaking to Ross King of Lorraine earlier this month, she said, “That is what has been difficult for me in the running of the bulls, being away from Mom and Dad, thank God we have the ability to see each other. [on video calls].
“We all live such distant lives, and it takes time like this to appreciate those close to you.”
The 50-year-old actress continued, “I have been watching the world go through this and sending my best vibes to everyone.
“What we did, we followed the rules. My children came back, all of a sudden, my children’s friends came back. It’s hard for us to say, ‘No, let’s not sneak out and have a party with your friends.'”
She and her husband of 19 years Michael have a new puppy to accompany them at home, along with their daughter Carys and their son Dylan Douglas, who will help their parents celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary later this year.
“They said it would never last,” Catherine laughed.
“I have a great marriage plan with both my own parents and Michael’s father and stepmother and what a good marriage means and how valuable it is and how you work and sustain it and appreciate it. So yeah, 20 years.” .
