The next chapter of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Battle Royale is about to unfold. The Season 6 update is coming very soon, and now Infinity Ward has informed fans exactly when the update comes live and when to expect patch notes. [Update: The patch notes are out now–see them below]
Ashton Williams, senior communications manager at Infinity Ward, said in a tweet that the Season 6 update will go live in normal time – on Sept. 28 at 11 p.m. Which will operate on September 29 at 2 a.m. ET and 7 a.m. GMT. Australia Australia, the patch will arrive at AEST around 4pm starting late in the afternoon.
The Season 6 patch includes a number of general improvements. For the C4, the beep will now play when you use the quick blast trigger; Throw velocity has also dropped by 30 per cent. The patch also fixes an issue where players can hold unlimited stopping power rounds.
In terms of weapons, the Origin 12 shotgun has seen its damage reduced at close range, while the damage to all shotgun slugs for Warzone has increased. In addition, the patch fixes a pair of problems that cause the player’s watch or heartbeat sensor to fail to fully appear when using the XRK chainsaw attachment on the Finn LMG.
Especially for the zones, Infinity Ward has fixed the collision problem for the stadium, while the patch also fixes an absorption that allows players to see through the fence. The patch also fixes the issue by which players cannot harm enemies while using the climb.

Even before the patch notes were released, Infinity Verde provided a full rustown of what’s in the Season 6 update. These include new maps for modern warfare, more weapons and a new subway system in the Battle Royale game. New Operators, including Farrah, are also coming out of the Modern Warfare campaign, while Season 6 will have a new Battle Pass to get started with refresh.

General fix:
- C4: Slight delay when making a quick explosion. A beep will sound when a quick explosion occurs. 30% reduction in initial velocity as well
- Fix for bug where, after reviving a teammate in Survival, there will be a 5 second delay before the user can use their weapon again
- Fix an issue where players can get unlimited stopping power rounds
- Fix the issue where the defender has a long resonance timer after all the players have died after the headquarters were taken back and during the defending match
- Fix an issue where it was possible to put a molotov or grenade in a planted bomb, which could cause it to kill a scattering player.
Weapons:
- Fix for two issues when using XRK chainsaw attachment on Fin LMG where player’s watch and / or heartbeat sensor is not fully visible
- Fix the bug where the explosive and thermoite round based on the chronic variant of the Bluetooth II bundle does not work.
- Fixed an issue where it was difficult to see the muzzle play selection screen for Finn LMG in the Gunsmith menu
- 23.0 ”Romanian Barrel A.K. The issue of the player’s left hand not holding the weapon properly when resolved is resolved
- Fixed a few bugs where the potential hipfire view model’s position did not appear as desired and may disappear under certain circumstances.
- Original 12: Very close damage reduced in Warzone
- Shotguns: Increasing damage to snails in the warzone
- XRK Chainsaw – Fine LMG:
- Adding any attachment to the gunsmith does not allow the attachment to extend the weapon
- Increased brightness on tech laser attachment
Warning:
- The issue of a collision in the south corner of the stadium was resolved
- Fix an issue where a white fence over it near the Hatar Spital was allowing players to look to one side
- Fix an issue where, on occasion, the train will appear as a white placeholder icon on the map
- Implemented fixes to help track Verzon wins properly
- Fixed a bug where players were unable to damage enemies by gunfire at the time
- If a player has their minimap set to rotate, they will see inaccurate pangs on the heartbeat sensor. This has been determined
- Fix for a rare problem where the train’s supply boxes may disappear during long rounds
PC:
- The NVIDIA Reflex is now available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, including Warzone, and the GFUs will deliver delayed improvements to GPU-intensive gaming scenarios on GTX 900 and NVIDIA graphics cards.
