Cadence of Hyrule Earns 3 DLC Packs, Season Pass, and Physical Edition

Cadence

The Nintendo Direct Mini: Partners Showcase got off to an incredible start with plenty of content announcements for Hyrule’s Cadence: Crypt of the NecroDancer with the Legend of Zelda.

Three paid downloadable content packs will hit the game this year, with the first one launching later today for $ 5.99. Here is a summary of each:

Package 1: Character Pack – In the first pack, five additional characters join the game set, including Impa, who excels in ranged attacks with the Naginata weapon, and Aria, perfect for players who like a challenge. The game is over if you hit it or miss a beat with it.

Package 2: Melody Package – After purchasing this bundle, 39 songs will be added to the game, including remixed versions of the game’s background music. Players can change the background music at any time so they can listen to their favorite songs while traveling through Hyrule.

Package 3: Additional Story Content – Symphony of the Mask – Play as the mysterious Skull Kid and venture through a new map in the third DLC pack, complete with new songs and a new story. Skull Kid also has the power to change abilities based on the masks he wears.

Packages 2 and 3 will be available before the end of October (available for $ 5.99 and $ 9.99 respectively), and you can be sure you’ll get your hands on picking up a Season Pass ($ 14.99). This Season Pass contains all three DLC packs (you’ll get them as they’re released) and will also grant you access to additional costumes for Link and Zelda.

That’s not all, either, as it was also announced that a physical edition with all the game’s base content and DLC will be available later this year. Available October 23 for $ 39.99, it will be perfect for anyone who hasn’t tried the game yet.
